This is an excellent way to touch the life of youngsters in hospitals around the world. You can purchase items through Amazon or donate money directly. The charity is non-profit, with all monetary donations going to the hospitals and the shipping of items. Help some kids have a happy holiday season!

The main goal of the RMHC is to help kids (and their families) in critical need. I interned on the child & adolescent unit at a critical-care inpatient hospital and worked with a number of families that would not have been able to come to the hospital had they not been able to go to the Ronald McDonald House (living out of town and being financially strained tends to make getting a hotel difficult). Having a place to stay has a direct impact on treatment, stress levels, and so many other things.
